Dividend stocks are doing well in this environment and this REIT came to my attention. It first popped up during my screening of Investor's Business Daily IBD Weekly VOL 35 NO 30 Week of October 29, 2018. It was Rank #45 in the IBD50
When screening stocks I'm focusing on stocks in the $20-40 range, because I buy in round lots in order to be able to sell a call against it - Covered Calls
I did not take action, because I was fully committed at the time. Then it appeared in the New High list on 2018-12-06. I bought the next morning within the first hour of trading
I bought on 12/07 and this is close to the Time Stop of 7 days. If I buy a stock and it is not making me money by 7 days it a sell. I have a slight gain and tomorrow is Day 7
I got filled at $30.69
-5% stop = $29.16
20% Target = $36.83

Ticktock and stop. I hit my 7 day time stop and it started out as a small loss on the day. It ended up being a -3% loss by the end of the day. This now moves me completely in cash and with this type of market I'm thinking that's a good thing.
I have been stopped out of my past several trades and have had a string of losses. I'm feeling cautious and want to wait till I see a higher probability setup. Going to ease back into the market. I need to have some more successes to commit more
